Agreed. My daughter was in quite a bad place this time last year, but managed to turn things round in her second year and achieved the results she needed. I wouldn't have been confident of that a year ago.

Well done to all of those for making it through such a challenging year and are now able able to look forward with fresh optimism.

My DH works at NTU!

DS got his first choice Uni of Hull for Professional Policing. He was shocked / surprised - he got great grades in all 4 A'levels he took. He smashed the points he needed for his offer by a mile! We are all super happy.

Son finally emerged from bed. No idea what his results are but he has had an email welcoming him to his 1st choice of Uni woohoooo. So he is off to Sunderland to do Sports physio and rehab. So so proud for a lad who couldn’t hold a pen and was told he was naughty at the age of 7 by his primary school when he was actually dyslexic and has dyspraxia. Thank heavens for the insightful teachers out there who suggested we get him assessed and then worked with us to ensure he could achieve what he wanted.

Congratulations to all those receiving results today, this was us last year and it was mayhem! Followed by a first non year at DDs first choice. Here’s hoping for a great next year for them all. Youngest is due results on Thursday 🤞🤞🤞

DS is off to Hertfordshire to study Paramedic Science! It was his insurance choice but he was happy to go to either so he's a happy boy and I'm one proud mum! He got B in Maths, B in Economics and a C in Biology. His first choice required a BBC but he needed a B in Biology. So proud of my boy! 😭😭❤❤

Oh and just to add, his first choice have rejected several people who have made the grades! So they have obviously over offered places which is bang out of order in my book!

My twins both got their first choices! One off to Leicester and one to Edge Hill. Super proud of them both. Had a few tears this morning and that was me, not them!
