Restaurants in Las Vegas
Hi all
We are doing a family holiday next year - 4 nights in Las Vegas and 10 nights at WDW. I'm well read up on WDW dining but would like some advice on Las Vegas. Where can we find good quality food, at not too expensive prices? We like most cuisines especially Mediterranean and Mexican!

The answer is everywhere. There is so much choice its ridiculous. One of my favourites with kids would be the Black Tap in the Venetian, burgers and desserts are enormous. They also have a couple of table top shuffleboard games right next to the gondola stop outside which passes a few hours. For an amazing diner experience try the Peppermill right opposite Circus Circus. Their brunches are amazing - one omelette could easily feed 4 people.

Our ‘must do’ in August will be the heart attack grill, where you dress in a Hospital Gown and are served by a Nurse in an extremely tight uniform . (I strongly suspect that they are not real Nurses).
I particularly like the look of the Octuple bypass burger. There is a low fat option, namely a bottle of mineral water and 20 cigarettes. In the event that you fail to finish your food, you are ‘paddled’ by a Nurse as a punishment. My son (18 years) has asked whether in the event that he clears his plate, that if he asked nicely, then would he receive a ‘paddling’ anyway as he wants a photo for his Facebook Profile. I cannot vouch for the quality of the food.. or otherwise. Edited at 05:32 PM. |

There’s something for every taste and every budget in Vegas! Most hotels have some kind of food court where you can get the usual fast food options. There are chain restaurants like Shake Shack, Applebee’s and Cheesecake Factory. And there are restaurants run by famous chefs in lots of the hotels too - Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck, Guy Savoy and many many others have places there. Plus most of the hotels have buffets where you can get anything your heart desires!
Some of our favourites include the Wynn buffet, Cosmo buffet (called Wicked Spoon), Olives at Bellagio, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris, Charlie Palmer Steak at Delano, Hash House A Go Go at Linc and Peppermill just past Encore. There is just so much choice! |
