Oh and their own make so called spreadable butter is awful and definitely not spreadable - you end up with shredded bread!

I'm sure my husband hovers around the fresh cream cakes waiting on the yellow stickers,I keep telling him to not look and just walk on by.😳

What about your scampi, the haddock and a pack of smoked Scottish salmon? Buy 3 for £10.

Mmm, wonder who buys that combination? Oh yes me!

Ooh I didn’t expect many replies to this post 😆

I’m going to be popping to this new local store quite often I think.
Will be trying all the things mentioned in this thread - apart from meat products (I’m a pescatarian).
This new store is fab, and as I have an M&S credit card that I use for all purchases each month, my points will add up even more now = more to spend on yummy food in store 😋

I shop there maybe once a fortnight and just pop to Morrison’s or Tesco’s for the essentials in between. Everything in there is yummy but my favourite has to be the blueberry muffins 😋

I do like it but find it too expensive for a family of 4 to do a proper shop. Ours does great end of day reductions though so I'll often call in as it's on the way to Aldi. I pick up some great bargains

We buy the £9 bags of raw British Oakham chicken breast fillets all in individual plastic bags and much better than anywhere else we have tried.
Maybe 6 or even sometimes 8 in the big pack. So easy to lob in the freezer and take one out as needed.

We get that voucher every week also! I’d rather they didn’t bother as it has really started to annoy me.

We shop there every week also and are almost on first name terms with the staff! Mind you since they “improved” the store recently they are really pushing everyone to scan and shop themselves and are getting rid of staff. It’s a huge food store but very few manned checkouts now. I am resisting as long as possible.

Here’s the scam. Ditch the Sparks card and use a different credit card each time you shop.

The computer recognises and profiles you so it’s a game to play. Use the Sparks card only when offers come in
