I must be the only one who is disappointed that Vegas is not what it used to be.
I enjoyed all the themed hotels and how different it was to anywhere else but they’re slowly but surely being replaced with hotels that look like office blocks that could be anywhere in the world.

No, I feel the same way.

I realise things need to change but having taken so long to do this (it must be close to 15 years or so) the fact that it looks so bland is quite disappointing. Maybe I’m not their target audience.

ETA it’s a duff location too

I feel the same and I feel that way about the new Disney blocks and their remodelled rooms. They look like nice Hiltons that could be anywhere.

And while I’m moaning “Resorts world” sounds like a cheap timeshare you’d find in a non English speaking country. That kind of money and they couldn’t pay someone to come up with a better name?

You are so right 😂

I wonder again though wherever we are not the target audience.

It will be interesting to see the price point for this.

Resorts World is the umbrella brand for all the leisure properties of the Malaysian owners, Genting Group. It is used on all their properties from (primarily) Asia to USA, Bahamas and...Birmingham.

We swung in this week

A few teething issues on food but maybe that’s to be expected.

I wasn’t overly impressed
