Anyone been to Longleat centerparcs?
We've been to Elveden and Sherwood but fancied visiting a different one. I just keep reading how hilly it is. Are there any flat areas? Where's best to book a lodge to avoid lots of hills?

No, but we're at Woburn at the moment and think it's a lovely site. Have also previously been to Sherwood and Elveden, but fancied a change

We have been many times. Yes, it is on high ground around a lake, but it never seems to be a great problem. Of note is a boardwalk zigzag that descends down to the lake, water sports and general sports hall with Badminton, Squash etc.
We really like the place, but cannot compare it with the others as it is the only one that we have been to,

We used to go to Longleat but once DS was old enough to ride his own bike we swapped to Elveden as it’s much flatter, smaller, and everything is central. Now he’s 15 we really should visit Longleat again 😂
Longleat is lovely but as you can see on the site map swimming is in one place with a few places to eat, pancake house etc in the middle, and then the sports plaza at the other end. So very different to Elveden. With it being so big, and hilly, they have their own land train going round (except on change over days). Which was great when we used to take my mum but sometimes it can already be full so you have to pick your bus stop/times carefully. Sticking to the accommodation at the top of the map, so north of the bus route is flattest. Being in Fir at the bottom of the map means you need to go down the hill to get to the sports plaza/lake etc, and then go back up the boardwalk on the other side to get to the pool. Hence the bus! If you are all good on bikes there is a cycle route behind the sports plaza that I think stayed fairly high and can be a better option. My sister used to go when her 3 kids were little and would plan her days around being at one end or the other because she always stayed in Fir. I think the treehouses and games lodges etc are at the bottom of hills. As long as you leave plenty of time to get about it’s fine
