Also jumping on this AA/BA thread with a question... are the in-flight facilities much the same in AA planes as in BA planes? A flight I'm looking at is London to Phily on AA, I need to know my kids have the same entertainment they got in 2019 on BA

All of AA’s wide body jets (777s and 787s) have seat back IFE. Some of the single aisle aircraft (mostly used for domestic flights) require you to stream the IFE on your own device.

The entertainment won’t be exactly the same as BA, it will be AA’s selection of channels, but the principles will be the same (movies, comedy, drama, kids shows etc).
