Let them eat Petit Pois

Just been doing my Tesco delivery for the weekend and I notice there is a shortage of frozen peas. I have however been able to order two bags of petit pois, whether they arrive or not is another matter.

There's definitely some food shortage out there tho for whatever reason.

Oh no, we can't manage without peas, actually it is my husbands favorite veg.

I went yesterday to get some golden syrup to make flapjack for the monthly village tea, none!

It reminds me of living in the Caribbean where you couldn't decide what you wanted to eat before you went to the shop, you had to decide in the shop when you could see what was available.

There it depended on what containers had arrived in the port, I guess its the same here now!

Walkers crisps where I am! Couldn’t order our usual flavours with the online shop, and when I popped into the supermarket yesterday there were barely any - just fish & chip flavour, or madras curry!

Auntie Sue, when will this madness end because I went into Tesco yesterday for a meal deal and they didn’t have anymore prawn sandwiches on brown bread. Fortunately they had toilet rolls, chunky kitkats and Oyster Bay.

I couldn’t pass by this thread without posting 😆
We’ve had supply issues with meat, salad, soy sauce and most annoying of all, building materials. Our extension should have been finished last month but is still only half finished, plus the cost of the roof has risen by £5,000 🤯

I noticed a shortage of steak mince and I am just renegotiating the mortgage to get a lamb joint for the weekend.

Tesco delivery yesterday ... 65 items on my list... 26 substitutions, 5 no shows and 2 short dates (next day).

At least I remembered to tick the Substitutes allowed box this time.

Meal planning has become interesting.

I have noticed a shortage of prawn sandwiches in M and S, and to be honest I have a slight prawn addiction.

I'm going to add toilet rolls to my list now. Oh and you can keep you Kit Kats but we could not get a box of ordinary Maltesers! What time to be alive eh?

I had an Asda delivery on Monday and was absolutely amazed that everything turned up with zero substitutions!

I don't think there's anything specific out of stock in my area but I am finding that when a space on the shelf is empty, it stays like that for days, no overnight replenishments anymore.
