I think that’s what I’d like for August 2020. Standard at POFQ.
Fingers crossed 🤞

We are at FQ for 10 nights from the 22nd as we've got 4 nights at HRH first. Might see you there?

We booked a standard room with free dining March. When we got there our room overlooking the gardens and was next to the river so don’t know if we were lucky with our view considering we paid for a standard view.

Know it's not a moderate but a good priced deluxe, we got standard room at AKL which sold out just a couple of weeks after release I think

But I do remember at the time loads of people booking for other times of year saying they had got standard rooms no problem ...so it obviously just related to resort and date choice.
Same here for us at POR, although for June. Seems dependent on resort and dates.
No standard rooms available when we booked on release, only garden view.
I did check a couple of times more as Id seen talk on here of standard rooms coming on and off, but in the end stayed with garden view, although it's not a 'view' as such I don't think.

Yes you could. But you had to be quick ... we booked about a month or so after it was released (maybe two) and there were only garden rooms left, no standard ones.

We booked a standard room with free DDP for 13 nights at CSR in October last year for August this year. I don't know if we got lucky or if they release the rooms in phases during the year.

We booked a standard room at POR through Virgin the day after free DDP was released for May this year.
