Wow, the price of some of your hotels though the New Orleans hotel looks lovely, and a good price on that one too.

I'm sure you will see some amazing sights, looking forward to reading all about it.

I hope you have some good fortune with your job hunting soon Amanda. Take care
Thanks Lynda. I am looking forward to this so much. We could do with some good fortune , I am sure it's waiting round the corner for us !

Just to get you even more excited here's a photo of a NOLA cemetery:

Sorry if it's 'fuzzy'. It's an iPad photo of a laptop photo. That's about as tech as I can get.

Lol, this made me laugh
I have just got to NOLA on the incredible plan and firmed up the list of places to eat. I have decided not to pre book any tours here, we will see how the weather is and how knackered we are after all the travelling around. Fortunately with being so central I don't think anything will be too much effort

Except fitting in about 20 cocktails over 3 days. That will require some effort

Two weeks today we will be in Dallas.
All I can say is
Hurricane Harvey .. 😱😱😱😱
It looks horrendous in parts of Texas. Can't imagine what it must be like for people caught up in it.

I'm hoping there is no more gulf hurricane shenanigans in the next few weeks

Final update to follow ...
