New MagicBand Options Coming to Walt Disney World Resort

Has anyone managed to buy them but the payment just permanently stays as pending on credit card and isn't taken?

I paid for mine Tuesday, all showing on MDE correctly but payment just sat in pending?

It's so annoying I had 3 that I wanted to order yesterday but 2 wouldn't go through when I tried. Now it's back to hardly any choice. Disney just seem so unorganised on this. If the bands are available to order from the main Disney site then they should have no trouble organising stock for those ordering on this promotion. They clearly should have put a date in place so people can't order so far ahead and should also allow you to order them separately as and when stock appears.

Anybody here already chosen/purchased theirs for trips in 2020?

We don't go until September 2020, but was wondering if I saw one I wanted would they honour a purchase over a year ahead of me picking them up?

I'm sure some people have but I really wouldn't as it doesn't help the situation for those of us who go soon.

We got some last night so we just sneaked in ahead of the cut off for our trip.
The 3 I got were not necessarily our absolute favourites but we are all happy with them which is what matters.
I agree that Disney should only let you purchase them within your online check in window if they can’t manage the demand.

So after my upgraded magic band disappeared from my order and being issued with a grey one, they dispatched all bands this morning to my offsite Hotel for our stay in August! I rang and asked to escalate my complaint and have just had an email to say they have now reopened the option for me to re order an upgraded band once they become available. So it depends who you speak to regarding modifying your order.

What?! I had three separate people tell me categorically yesterday that there was no way they could get into the system to re-open an order to modify once a payment had been made against it! I even asked if it could be cancelled so I could start again and they said no. I really don’t know what Disney are playing at, the whole thing is such a mess!

I share your frustration, no way was I expecting an email to say they have re opened my ability to chose another upgraded band, I even checked as i thought this sounds to good to be true, but everything is set up for me to chose again. Hopefully everyone that is having problems eventually gets theirs sorted!
