We've used Airalo on our previous visits plus any local (Disney) network.

Yes it gave a US number. Don't think we ended up using the minutes, but good to know we had some if needed.

US Mobile is also an option. It's cheaper than T-Mobile prepaid depending on how much data you need but will get less network restrictions than the likes of Airalo.

I went this route in January and now pay $3 a month just to keep my number snoozed, then reactivate when I'm back out there.

I’ve been thinking about this too, I’ve always had go roam with three but since it changed I don’t have any days left on my contract for it and the bolt on is £60 for 14days , my issue is that I have a disabled sister who I need to speak to daily and she has no wifi just a standard phone , she also needs to be able to call me on my number so is there any of these esims that allows you to keep your number and includes calls or am I best just paying the £60 to three and keep it simple xxx

$15 for 5GB of data & unlimited calls and texts is the lowest option.
I think they did one with 3gb of data before.

Or you can use Airalo or hubby.

If you want to swap out your sim then you can use 3 PAYG but make sure you activate in uk first 👍
I am gonna look into this I have a week trip soon, I have my phone set to USA for work anyways, will I not be able to activate it till I land in the states I have never used a Esim before. I have 2 phones 1 for work and my own, I have 02 with my own with international sim but they have changed the rules where you can only use it for 63 continuous days abroad which I am going to turn to Airplane mode when I land anyways.

I can’t see that one? The cheapest for enough for a two week holiday is $35.

Are you looking at limited or unlimited plans, there’s 2 options

Believe you will need to do the Verizon trial from WiFi when you are there. If you sign up for Airalo or similar then you can install here and when on the flight just turn data off on your UK sim and turn data on for the eSim.

On an iPhone thats settings, mobile service, mobile data 👍

For airalo discount code Wander15 still works. Hubby looks a bit cheaper but I have not used yet

I didn’t see that option but will have a look.
Now that Airalo do calls and texts I’ll probably stick with them though.
