All now booked! Fly to Denver and back from LAX. In total about 3,000 miles and many national parks earmarked including Yellowstone.

All parks are open and the only difference is possibility of longer queues at the entrance and shorter opening hours at the visitor centres.

So looking forward to another road trip adventure. Mrs T even gets her wish to go to a rodeo when we are in Cody for a couple of days.

It was never an option not to go. Never even came up when planning the two trips.

Have a great time 👍

I hope you enjoy the rodeo and it goes smoothly. Unfortunately when we went it gave me nightmares.

A bull broken its leg and the noises it made were horrific then they shot it. The guy in the ring made a joke about how fresh the BBQ would be that day 🤢😂

We are doing Yellowstone, Grand Teton and the five big Utah NPs in September.
Can't wait!
I for one am not going to let one guy or politics get in the way of my life.

Exactly! We have Mount Rushmore, Custer state park, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Joshua Tree and the aerial tramway in Palm Springs plus a rodeo in the planned trip plus anything we see while driving from one place to another.

Hope you have a fabulous time. I know we will!

If I had already booked I would be going. But as we haven't we're going to wait a while and see how things and our anxiety develop.

We have been trying to arrange an extended family trip to WDW for literally a decade, and my cousin decided this week that they can go next year, and between them and my kids getting so excited, I’ve relented and decided that I will go, but immerse myself in the Disney/universal bubble and not turn on the news between now and next September! 😂😂

So sorry MM, but I had to confess as I’m now going to be updating my countdown for the first time in four years, and I will be frequenting the Florida trip planning boards to learn all things lightening lane and Epic Universe related over the next year and a half! 😂😂
We the exact same thing. We were not planning to go back due to the administration, but we ended up booking for November for a family reunion.

We will not be going back next year.

Going. If I was just about to book, I’d still be going. The only thing he’s actually accomplished is getting me a better exchange rate. And blowing a big hole in my pension.

So, we've had a change of heart.

We were thinking of visiting Boston / New England this autumn but have now changed our minds - in part due to what's happening politically in the USA. We are now going on a Disney cruise in Europe instead!

I can't change my vote but I would now probably vote for the "I was going to book USA, but as a result of circumstances over there, have changed my mind" option.

your plans sound like the trip that's on my bucket list. I'll not be going for a few years, but would be great to hear how it goes...

That sounds horrific, even just reading it.
