Kids entering Q lines when not tall enough

Can they do this at Disney?

Want DS to see the inside of GotG Q…. Plus with virtual line don’t fancy waiting twice within our boarding group. Can we just all go together and then child swap at the ride… ie exit to ride.

Something like they do at Universal for example (DS loved the Velocicoaster Q).

After a quick Google it does say there is child swap but not sure if they can still walk the queue or not as doesn’t mention that.

Did you find out if there’s child swap? There’s 5 of us but our youngest won’t want to go on so we’ll have to take it in turns.

Yes you can do child swap, no you can't take a child through the queue who doesn't meet the height requirements.

The good thing is the 2nd party went through lightning lane instead of virtual q.

Virtual q was great joy 10 mins max…. Not the 30 mins as suggested so wasn’t bad anyway.

How does it work then, do all the people that want to ride book onto a BG then turn up when called and tell the Cast member they want to do rider swap like you would for any other ride?

That is correct, yes. The 2nd party will go through the LL once back so not have to re-join the virtual q line.
