You can still pre purchase Genie+ on the UK site for 2023 holidays. This may change later this month so it might be worth buying your tickets now.

Another example I think of Disney money grabbing. This is definitely our last Disney trip.
You still can, but have until 8th June to do so. Baring in mind unless you visit more than 8/9 days and need genie+ for every day then it works out cheaper to buy it on the day rather than the whole trip upfront.

This is a negative based on my recent holiday. We absolutely loved having paid for it in advance. It took the stress out of deciding daily whether we wanted it. As people who only go to the parks for a couple of hours it was great. I would never pay for it on the day because we don’t stay all day so it would be standby for us then on future stays

I don’t really see how it is much different other than the discount. If you decide you want it for the whole holiday it’s an extra few seconds to add in the morning. Decide before you go you want it every day if that makes a difference and just add it 🤷

In case it helps anyone else I just called Attraction tickets as we have our package with them and the really helpful lady said we needed to let them know by 31st May if we want to add it on. At least it means I need to just get on and make up my mind!

More like 7 days now based on the falling exchange rate

Does anyone know the deal if we've already bought tickets which include genie + via attraction tickets direct, and not as part of a disney package (which it says will be retained) ?

We are due to travel in November, urgh disney do like to cause additional stress don't they!

Did you have to pay in full? I have a deposit with them which includes genie+

It won't make any difference to us as I don't think I'll be using it.

Not quite sure I’m afraid. She didn’t say this was necessary but realised our final payment is due before the 31st as it happens.
