Returning car full ?

I'm asking this because I always pay for the fuel in advance.

This time I'm having a 2 day rental in Atlanta so I'll have to fill up the car and my question is - how full is full ?

Do you have to fill it up until the petrol is sloshing out ? are Alamo really strict about the car being full up to the top ? as I've no idea where I can get petrol (gas !) from near the airport

The only time I've filled up was years ago with Hertz at Faro airport and they still charged me a refuelling fee because I didn't fill it up enough even though I heard 2 clicks bah

We filled up at the Disney car care centre and drove to Orlando airport and it still showed full and Alamo were fine with it. We had an intermediate suv so pretty economical.
