Help me to convince my wife
I would really like to do a Caribbean cruise, it's on my bucket list, but my wife isn't so keen. She thinks it will be all sunbathing and beaches.
Please help me to convince her there is so much more to do than sunbathing every day.

You will only get chance to sunbathe on your days at sea, depending on your chosen ports there is sooooooooo much to do.
We are not sun worshippers that's why we cruise, love it.

We are really not beach people but love our cruises to the Caribbean, we have been on two with a third booked for February 2018. Lots of great activities to do, sight seeing, adventure tours etc and some great shopping . P&O have great Caribbean fly cruise itineraries, our next one is for 14 nights and covers 9 ports, many of which are new to us, plus you can fly to Barbados thus avoiding the USA immigration faff! We are flying from Birmingham next time and they offer a few regional departures not just the usual London or Manchester routes. Hope you can convince her to give it a go

We aren't into typical beach holidays - we can't sit still long enough! However, our Caribbean cruise was the best family holiday. The fact that you are in a different place every day means that there isn't the danger of getting somewhere and realising there isn't enough to do.
We learnt to snorkel & saw turtles and rays, went out on boat trips, my dh did 2 miles of extreme zip wire on St Thomas, plus the food and drink was amazing. The advantage of a cruise is that there are still lots of activities on the ship. We thought it was the best of both worlds, loads to do but the option to sit around all day if we wanted to. Good luck
