Car parking

Just wondering if anyone knows if you have to pay for parking late in the day?

We're thinking of having a few pool days and going to the night shows in the evening but wondering if we have to pay just for that?

Disney - officially yes but you may get lucky and get waved through. Universal - free after 6pm.

We're here just now and have seen parking booths open and closed depending on what park you're going into. Animal Kingdom parking still manned at night when we went in after 8pm last week yet Epcot had parking booths closed when we went in sometime after 7 last night. I would imagine with Pandora now open and Rivers of Light that AK will always be manned at night. The other parks will be a hit or miss.

I managed 2 free parking days both after 6pm one in epcot the other at Hollywood studios x
