Air Transat schedule change by a day!
I've got flights booked with Air Transat for next April from Gatwick to Vancouver, out on the Thursday 5th April back on Monday 9th. Just looked to see if I can book my seats and there is a schedule change, my return flight has been brought forward by 24hours to the Sunday night. Not sure where I stand as I can't see anything on their website regarding schedule changes but really it's not worth us going for 3 nights, we really need the 4 nights. Has anyone had a schedule change with Air Transat before? I'm going to have to call Canada to speak to someone but wanted to know where I stand first and hopefully source some other flights. I presume if we decide to stay with the flights we are not due any compensation as they are not an EU carrier.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Oh no, that's ridiculous, didn't you get an email from them? Not that that makes it any better. We fly end of June with them and they have changed our return flights 3 times, but i did get an email each time. We are now flying back at midnight instead of 9pm which I am not overly happy about. Luckily we are staying our last week in a condo and can stay on no bother from checkout time.
Hope you get it all resolved. |

They changed our return flight for our upcoming trip. I didn't get told, I just happened to log into my booking one day to find it was different.
We'd paid for extra legroom seats as well. I called them but because it's a different layout on the other plane we couldn't get the same seats. They've assured me I've now got bulkhead seats and emailed me the seat numbers but I can't see it on my reservation (still shows the old ones) so god knows what I'll actually end up with!

I've cancelled and got a refund as they are only flying on a Thursday and Sunday in April, now to find some more flights, they are about £150 extra each 😕.

Thats not good. Have you looked at west jet? We flew them last year, and thought they were great. No IFE, and no food included, but they were a good price.
