My sister lives in Perivale and just uses contactless and when I was local I used it too. So much easier

I'm taking DD down to London to see a couple of shows for her birthday in August. I've been looking at the website and it looks like I won't be able to use my contactless card when we use the Tube as she will be 13 when we go and you can only use it for one person. Am I reading that correctly?

I might just register my two debit cards and use one for her for all the journeys that we will do. It will still be cheaper than paying for an 11-15 Oyster card for her.

I hink contactless will presume a full paying adult fare.
As I commented on a previous post, the cheapest option will be to buy a day travel card at Main Line Rail Station at 33% discount for adults with a Family railcard.
I think the kids tickets were only £2.80 with the discount.
National railcard also gave decent discounts on London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Theatre tickets etc

Is it easy to get to the centre of London on this line? Which is the best station to get off or do we need to change for a different line? Want to see the typical places, like Buckingham Place, Westminster (really want to see inside there). London Dungeons.
Thanks.

Yeah, I'd expect to be paying the adult fare. For all we'll be using it, I'm quite happy to do that.

Yes very easy as it's on the central line.
If I were you I'd go to London dungeons first as you'll need a Time slot and it'll be quieter then so from Perivale you change at Bond Street to the jubilee line which will take you to Westminster and then as you come out of the station you'll see the London eye so cross the bridge and the dungeons are right next to eye and the aquarium

You don't need to register the debit card (or if you do I'm not sure why?) we were in London last weekend and I just gave dd one of my contactless cards to use.

Going myself hopefully soon with the family. Can you register one contactless card for more than one person. Not sure if my DW and DD18 have contactless cards
I presume paying by contactless you still get the benefit of any daily caps etc ?
Sorry for daft question, but do you still buy tickets or is there a " check in/check out point" at each station where you just swipe in/out - do you get a receipt or how does it work.
Sorry, novice at work and not got my bum in gear

You don't register a card so I don't think one contactless will work for more than one person .
You still get the caps and you literally just touch your card /wallet to the touch pad by each barrier (a yellow circle with a card icon)
Don't think you can get receipts , you'll just have to check your bank the next day

Thanks pumpkin kitty. Not sure what you mean by " you still get the caps" ?
Also, ref the receipt , I was more thinking if an inspector got on , what proof do you have that you have actually paid for your journey
