They're extending the hours until 9pm closing from this Friday, so hopefully things my calm down a little.

Hmm we will have early entry to Volcano Bay but Aquatica sounds more appealing, it'll be empty compared to VB hopefully lol

Early entry is the best way. We took the hotel shuttle today at around 7.15, just waited a few minutes at the gate and went in at 7.45.
Reserved 4 sun loungers, rode around 8 rides, sat and people watched then left at around 10.45. At which point a couple of the rides had 95 min return times but most were around 40/50 mins.

Are a lot of these issues down to "New Park" syndrome?

Were at Universal between 6th to 12th July, onsite @ RPR 6th to 8th IDrive for the rest but close.

Planning a reccy whilst onsite but a full day on a Monday. According to Tim Tracker the later you can stay the better it gets?

We're pretty much going for the lazy river and because the theming looked good, don't fancy fighting on the lazy river though...doesn't sound like a very 'lazy' experience 🙄 xxx

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen. I'm sur they have plenty of lifeguards etc, but it sounds like the virtual queue system is putting strain elsewhere in the parks. People not stood in ride queues are on lazy rivers and wave pools.

It's just too busy. I'm seriously considering giving this park a miss now
