Most of the complaints about Epcot come from people that pay $120 to get in

How many Brits would pay £100 to get in Epcot? Magic Kingdom yes but not Epcot. Luckily it's included in our 14 day pass

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Epcot, this and MK are our favourite parks.
I feel I have more room in Epcot and you don't see big crowds of people (not when we have been anyway), it's more relaxed and chilled out, we can not do it all in one day so go back numerous days.
We can do everything together as well rather than at universal when my husband and older two want to go on fast rides that leave me and my youngest hanging around lol

Just for starters I should say that we are the "wrong" side of 70 and haven't been to EPCOT since 2010 but have probably visited at least forty times in the preceding years.

We love EPCOT but then again we are not particularly thrill seekers.

If your holiday expectations are white knuckle rides would any WDW park be your first choice?

Mick

I would say no, that's what Universal is for

Interesting thread!

Epcot is my least favourite park! I do love soarin and mission space though.

I really like that it never seems packed though and you have more space to move around!

Ashamed to admit this is my 4th visit and I haven't seen illuminations. Going to fix that this time!

We were the same
Didn't enjoy it our first visit but didn't give it the time it deserves
Probably because friends had given us so many negative comments
Avoided it in 2015 but then in 2016 we went when Food and Wine was on do decided to give it another go after reading comments on here
We loved it and not just because of food and wine
Definetly worth a visit it 2 in my opinion

It's effectively a huge food court with some additional rides

I have no problem with Epcot but I can see why people maybe put off paying upto $130 plus $20 parking for one day

I love Epcot. Spell my username backwards.

Love the variety there between the 2 areas and the whole feel of the place.

Perhaps some rides could do with a modernisation, but I don't think it's had its day.

Lots of rumours out there for Epcot. To get it ready for 2021 (50th anniversary)

Ratatouille from Disneyland Paris
United Kingdom attraction could be themed to Mary Poppins
Tron ride
Guardians of the Galaxy ride taking over Ellen's Energy Adventure
Star wars hotel
illuminations possibly using drones
