Weekend break ideas
Having just come back from a busy Florida holiday with the children and the mother in law, me and my wife would like to have a weekend away somewhere.
Anyone able to give me some ideas of where to go? Don't mind flying as long as it's around a 2 hour flight and even open to nice places in the UK. Fire away and thanks in advance. |

Lake District would be my choice. We went to a wedding last year near Windemere at a hotel called The Wordsworth. We keep meaning to go back but not managed it yet.

Had a few days in Prague last week with mates and it is a lovely place, planning on going back DW later this year. Although we were primarily there to drink (visiting local breweries) we traveled all over the city and a bit further out to, there is plenty to see and the public transport is great.

My husband and I flew to Dublin in march for the weekend and had the best time! I'd highly recommend it, it's a fantastic city!
We visited Edinburgh with the kids over Easter and that was great too. Out of the two however I'd go back to Dublin. |
