Virgin Man-JFK

I'm just looking at virgin website at UC flights to NY from Manchester this August. Does anybody know if they will be codeshare or operated by virgin themselves?
I'm getting a few options inc many indirect which doesn't interest me - some say operated by Virgin and others say operated by Virgin and Delta.
The ones I'm holding are non stop and say operated by Virgin with no mention of Delta. It's s new route so I'm not sure how they work

Virgin have taken over that route from delta pretty recently, April/may I think. I'm not sure if they operate all the flights as virgin or not. I'm flying man to jfk next Monday and we've definately got a virgin plane.

Interested in the replies to this as I am also looking at that route in August. All the flights I have seen for the 27th seem to be operated by Virgin. I can't seem to get a direct return though.

I searched using flexible dates and had a few direct return options. However, I'm slightly earlier than you as I need to be back for gcse results

We just decided yesterday to fly over, watch the tennis for a couple of days then fly back. Bit extravagant but you only live once! I am trying to slot it in between GCSE results and college enrolment and first day back to school/college. It's like a military operation!

The flight is scheduled to be operated by Virgin throughout August (until 14 Sep), VS127 out and VS128 on the return.

It's also sold by Delta under codeshare as DL4350/4351, but it is the same flight, operated by VS.
