CBR to Magic Kingdom - how long will it take ?

Evening,

Our 1st day plan is an early ADR at BOG. I'm hoping to get a 8am ish ADR, fingers crossed.

What time should we be leaving CBR to arrive at MK for say 7.45?
We will be driving and then getting the Monorail.

Last went to Florida was in 2011, and I can't remember timings etc !

I'd leave about 7. It will take about 15 minutes to drive, 15 to walk to monorail and 15 on monorail. All very approx.

Personally I'd get the bus, which takes you right to the gate. I'd still leave at 7 because you can't predict how long you will wait for the bus, but its usually no more than 15 minutes.

Yes, I was thinking about getting the bus. The only issue we have, is that me, DH and 2 DD's are in the CBR, and my son and his girlfriend are in Clarion Inn LBV. We will be going to pick them up that first morning, and then onto MK.

I'd get to MK earlier. We arrived this year at 0715 for a 0805 CP Breakfast and the queue had just started to form for early ADRs. We managed to be just a few from the front so when we were let in at 0745 we got to see an empty main street and get some great pictures of the kids/castle/statues with no one around. Three restaurants now do early breakfast ADRS so I imagine the queues will be even longer.

Ah okay, good point, thank you ! No doubt we will be up at the crack of dawn that 1st day anyway, so will aim to get there earlier.
