Car hire for 14 days or 17 when staying on site
Hi everyone,
we are staying in a villa in august for 14 nights then a hotel within universal area (not booked hotel yet) for the last 2 nights. is it worth having the car for the whole 17 days or just the 14? just working out if theres any savings as would need a taxi to airport the last day. Also wasn't sure how far things are apart (never been before) like getting from universal to disney etc thought just crossed my mind as i was looking at car hire prices thanks Jon |

doing similar, we're getting magical express from the airport then picking up car two days in after using the buses for the first few days. Our last few days will be on the east coast then its just an hours drive back to airport drop off. Seems to be cheaper to book in whole weeks

We like to have the car for the whole stay so we have the option to go off site easily If we want to. For £30 it would probably end up costing you more than that in taxis.

If it's a Universal hotel you're looking at you pay for parking there. If you plan on staying at Universal and doing just the theme parks then the car will sit there while you pay for it. Our Universal stay is in the middle of our trip some don't have a lot of choice plus we might go offsite to eat and shop.
