8 seater or 15?

Hi

I'm doing my usual thing this year of combining Disney with a road trip. We've not booked yet but we're looking at road tripping for about 9 days then staying in Orlando for 6. Last year there were five of us (all adults) and we had a 7-seater minivan. It was great but we had a squish (puzzle) to fit all our bags and U.S. In, particularly when we'd bought stuff part way through. This year it looks like another adult is joining. Would you recommend an 8 seater or should we just get the 15 seater mini bus and be comfy. Do I need any special licenses etc for going for the mine bus?

Thanks

Not sure an 8 seater would give you any more space for the increase in cost over a 7 seater, as the 8th seat is where the centre aisle is in the 7 seaters.

Plus they can be hard to get. Best to book the larger van and guarantee more space. You do not need a special licence to drive it.
Alternatively if there is more than one driver it would be worth considering hiring two cars.

Thanks guys. We considered two cars and still are but it's a big roadtrip so two cars equals more fuel or more importantly trying to stay together. There's also the fact that only one other member of the group is over 30 so they'd have charges for anyone else and whilst I'm used to doing 2-3000 miles driving in ten days (and enjoy it) none of the others have ever driven out there. Seemed a bit much.
