Thanks headpin but not hired luxury always open to a cheeky upgrade though

How many rows do Alamo occupy?

There are 22 different vehicle types listed on their site but no more than 6 or 8 rows?

The chances are that, apart from Luxury and elite models where the keys will be in the kiosk, there will always be a mix of models in any row. You are entitled to take any vehicle in the row, but even if you stray into the next row up and the keys are in the car you can help yourself. The guy at the exit will not care and you will not be charged any different rental.

Never pay for an upgrade as they are, more often than not, freely available.

Trying to do Skip the Counter now my new credit card is through. I've already done OLCI and have an email with a link but it says there's a technical issue. Anyone else had that?

This happened to me and I was told it was because the credit card I was using for Skip the Counter was different to the one I used when booking. I'm going to try again when my new Virgin Amex comes in to see if that is the problem.

Hi ..I did wonder that... but when you read other sites they say anyone can pay the booking just make sure the credit card at the end matches on the day you pick the car up. I used my Visa Debit to book. Wanted to use our Post Office MasterCard at the end. Don't fancy giving them at Orlando my Debit Card Did you phone them ?

No I didn't really need to. Although I'd prefer to use my PO credit card I don't mind using my VA Amex as I don't expect to have anything other than fuel on it anyway.
