Breakfast Options at Universal

The orchid lounge breakfast area is pretty decent, you can get the menu online, afaik, none of the places on the way in to the parks are open before 08.00, so you would be wasting part of the hour getting food. Much better to eat at rpr when you've checked in at @ 07.00, it normally takes about 30 mins to check in, put your bags in storage and sort out your express pass cards.

We usually grab something after we've done the Harry Potter rides in the bakery in the park, think it's Croissant Moon. Very good value, they do a drink, pastry/muffin and a huge cup of fruit salad for about 7 dollars if I remember right! Was loads of food! And nice!

We got something from Croissant Moon before, but found it expensive. I did think at the time that we had not made the best choices, your option sounds much better.

We are planning on eating at iHOP/Perkins before we check in, so first morning should be ok.
