Selling Question

I'm thinking of selling. My son has a holiday planned in September using points. Does anyone know if can still sell before the date or do I have to wait until the holiday has been actually taken? Thanks.

You can advertise and even accept offers but you cannot close until the stay is complete. A suggestion may be to list for sale late June and specify in the listing 'closing after xth Sept. It's quite normal and you'll see it on other listings.

You can list now and when a buyer is found the agreement is still sent to Disney for ROFR right away. If Disney waives or if Disney buys it back the final documents are not sent to you and the buyer until about 3 weeks prior to check out date. Then both parties return the documents and the closing would take place right after check out. Most sellers like to list with the delayed closing as they don't feel a need or rush to accept any crazy offers because can't close for some time.

With the current situation the September holiday isn't looking too promising so I won't do anything just yet and probably move points into RCI
