"Extra" activities to do outside rides/shows?

So I'm just wondering about what to do for our upcoming trip as I have a free day (even with generous relaxation and park time as well as a space kennedy trip) and was looking into doing something a bit different.

We will probably not be doing the Disney parks (so I'm re purposing that ticket money for this) although we would be open to anything outside US/IoA/SW, but we won't be renting a car so that is a factor.

I know that SeaWorld has tours and other things to look at (which I will) but does anyone know if there is anything like that at Universal? I've always been the "do things on your own" type, but I thought it might be interesting to do a show/presentation/see something new.

Any tips/suggestions? Thanks!

How about canoe ride down the crystal river then a swim with manatees?

We did BLUE MAN GROUP for the first time we loved it cant wait to do it again, it was funny witty just an all round brilliant comedy show, its a 1 hour 45 minute show, its just a shame it didnt last longer.

Another vote for Blue Man group in the evening! It's hilarious and a great show all ages can appreciate!
