"All ages" 8 months old?
Hi, upcoming trip will be our 5th. We last went when dd was 23 months and she did all of the calm rides, but i didnt let her go onpirates of carribean whixh I'm sure said all ages. She also had a melt down on toy story :-(
In April ds who is a tiny 7 day old at the moment will be 8 months and I'm looking into what he can come on. Little rides like small world, winnie the pooh, little mermaid, jungle cruise etc I'm expecting he'd be fine but other rides which are suitable for all ages I'm not so sure on like dumbo, flying carpets, the new frozen ride, new river ride at Pandora etc. Any thoughts or experiences? Thanks Edited at 03:15 AM. |

I think it depends on the nature of the child.
DS went on all the rides at 8 months like pirates (he was asleep though), dumbo, pooh, jungle cruise etc. Nothing really phased him. We had him in a baby carrier which made life easier for getting on and off the rides.

Only issue I'd have with some rides is safely getting on and off them with a Babe in Arms. I can't see an issue if using a baby carrier.

Congratulations!
We took our 3 month old last September. She went on everything she could go on. Haunted Mansion, potc etc wasn't bothered it was dark etc She loved whinnie the pooh and frozen We had her in a carrier and she stayed in it on some rides (especially if asleep or on toy story and buzz as I needed my hands free ) and I took her out on others |

Congratulations!
I'd recommend giving Brett and Jo's trip report a read to give you a good idea as they took Marceline at a similar age. They did a lot of rides and used a sling carrier for ease getting on/off too. Index here - https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...d.php?t=994573 |

We're here now and have a just turned 5month old with us. She is loving all the sights and sounds! We have taken her on everything with no restriction including Dumbo, safaris, navii river journey, tsm, buzz, jungle cruise, pan. She is mesmerised by it all! Go and enjoy! It's the easiest age!

We did Pirates in June when our girls were 2 and 4 months. DD1 likes watching the ride video on YouTube but wasn't overly fussed by it, so I don't think we'll bother in October. DD2 did most of the no height restriction rides though and will again
