That is tough - it's been much easier not having tempting stuff in the house, I must admit. Early on in the journey, I did speak to the family to say effectively that I would really appreciate their support in it as much as possible, and that helped, as they were all on side. My other half does quite a bit of the cooking, and initially really wasn't keen on weighing ingredients - but when I explained how much it meant to me, he really stepped up to the plate (lol).

Another book to try is A Pinch of Nom, which I just got at the end of last week - we've tried a few recipes from it already, and they are really tasty and easy to cook.

I would say that it might be worth working out your own calorie counts, rather than relying on what any recipes say, because I find they tend to be a bit inaccurate - and I suppose every shop that you buy from might be different. The My Fitness Pal app has a recipe feature that's good for that.

That’s a really good way of putting it - it is life changing. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and forget that it’s happened, then I remember and I feel so pleased!

Awesome work, you have maintained focus and that helps massively, I also like that you allow yourself a cheat day because if you stay too strict it doesn’t allow a fun day so to speak, you have achieved a great result, keep focussed and I know you will get there.
