Work in a hospital too, we’ve just had new air con put into our dept and since then we we have had to wear fleeces as we are not allowed to touch it. The problem being that people coming into our section from the wards are loving the cool air but we are being constantly blasted by cold air and it gets very uncomfortable working in it. According to bosses and the temp monitors we are at an ambient 18 degrees

We came home from Croatia last Sunday and struggled to dry the washing at the beginning of the week as it was so wet and chilly. We had the heating on too. Yesterday and today are quite nice but I wouldn’t call it a heatwave, nowhere near the 32-34° we were getting in Split

My husband always laughs when he sees or hears something about a heatwave in summer because I get annoyed by it!

It’s not abnormal to have a hot day in summer, it’s just being summer!

agreed, its a lovely lovely sunny day, but its not a heatwave.

Last year's extended weeks of sun was more like a heatwave in the UK.

Cloudy and muggy here, feel like we need a good thunderstorm to clear the air. No sun at all!

Hot and sunny where I am, bit too hot if I'm honest, just come in to cool down a bit. Feel like I should be doing a lap around Epcot snacking instead lol...
