Raining all afternoon here in the Highlands looks like we’ve had our usual couple of days of summer.

It’s sooo hot here in Essex that’s we’ve got all blinds and curtains shut with fans going to try to keep the house cool.

6 loads of washing done and dry by 3pm shows just how hot it’s been today. Last load was out less than an hour.

I like the heat but a little cooler than this is preferable so that we can actually get stuff done. We had planned to do some gardening but with a south facing garden with no shade that clearly wasn’t happening today 😂

It’s been around 32/33 here in Surrey today and still roasting.

Our ceiling fans have been on all day and our bedroom one will be on all night.

The coolest room in our house is our front bedroom bathroom which has no window and a tiled floor. Think I may just sleep in the bath 😂😂!

I’m sure I can see the heat coming off the carpets in other rooms 😂😂!

Least it’s due to be cooler tomorrow. One day of over 30 degrees I can cope with 😂😂.

It’s dark and wet in central Scotland and has been pretty dull here all day. At least the thunder and lightning seems to have passed now. Good old Scottish summer weather

I also went on a bke ride this morning in the woods, and being mainly shaded it wasn't an issue. Got up to 34 here, and my app showing its 32 now.
