Just a word of caution, cheap doesn't usually equal good (or in some cases adequate) insurance

For a number of reasons we have to pay a lot of money for our holiday insurance and for years I've had to test the market and thoroughly check what cover we have and what excesses if any.
We currently pay over £800 for our age and PEMCs and I'm always amazed at the range of cover. Company A might show £500 premium but only cover say £2,000 cancellation with a £100 excess. Company B might be a £600 premium but cancellation cover is £5,000 with no excess. As Jim says you really need to check the policy headlines in detail. Also being Defacto 5 star is good. Comparison sites unfortunately are a waste of time for us. After spending 30 minutes on their web sites they usually come back and say sorry we can't help. Mick

We brought our annual policy through Top cashback from Columbus two days ago and think we have a bargain.
Our PEMC are covered and we also added Cruise cover and zero excess. The policy came to £195.70 with a cashback amount of £51.37 which will be paid back in three weeks.

I always use price comparison, got insure and go for £60 for the 3 of us. We are lucky that none of us have any pre existing conditions and I always make sure that the canx covers what we paid and at least 10 million medical insurance. I agree that if there are any medical conditions its a whole different thing and more research may be needed.

If you’ve got pre existing medical history then go through JUST travel cover. They’ve been amazing.
You don’t want cheap, you want the right cover. Just travel cover are cheap £118 for world wide gold cover for various medical conditions in 2 adults.

Cheap Travel Insurance for the USA could seriously bite you on the backside.
As said, check the smallprint.
