This is Disneyland not DLP - yet. However I can see it probably start in DLP if they keep increasing the prices but taking things away. We are starting to think about when we will be going due to costs.

While it’s not anywhere near as busy as they expected it’s also not dead. I have been watching queue times on the app before our up and coming trip and most of the major rides are 50 mins+. Plus all the blogs I have watched recently are a a lot busier than those photos make it look.

You should stop reading DM..

Most of the negative press is coming from influencers.. not normal folk like you and me.

It won’t die

It’s also very much a locals park many of who have annual passes that have a summer block out ..

Watched some YouTube videos that don't mention crowd levels (that's not the reason for the video, therefore not biased to prove their point) and it looks busy, but as others have said it's a locals park so while they're blocked out it'll be quiet, once they're allowed back in it'll be manic, especially evenings and weekends

There are already several threads on this explaining why this is the case and not that unexpected for the summer this year.

We’re just back from our holiday and were in Disney for 5 days. I had read before we went that it was really quiet but on the days we were there is wasn’t. We’re usually in the Florida parks in the summer and while it wasn’t as busy as they usually are it certainly wasn’t quiet.

Nothing to do with Disney greed. DailyMail is a joke of a "news"paper.

Many people are avoiding Disney because they expected large crowds for Star Wars. Some people are waiting for the second Star Wars ride to open before visiting. The biggest reason is because Disneyland is a locals park and everyone is blocked out because thye expected large crowds for Star Wars over the summer.

Does anyone know if those expected large crowds actually materialised? If so, good news for Disneyland and potentially for Orlando.
However, if not, where did Disney miscalculate?
