"Leave A Legacy" type thing

Hi all,

Just wondering is there any leave a legacy type thing at any of the Disney parks at the moment? We did the epcot one back in 2005, with the plaques and just wondered if any others are about now that one is full

Yep, nothing like it now - really surprises me, as they could be making a shed load of money from it! Leave a Legacy at Epcot is nowhere near full either, so i really cant understand why they didnt continue with that until it was!

Why sell $30 chunks of Disney when they have worked out they can sell $20000 chunks (DVC if I have to spell it out)

I got some feedback from a CM at EPCOT who told me that the leave a legacy thing was universally hated by CMs as it spoils the view - I'll be devastated when they tear it down and I lose my little place in Epcot

We paid a darn site more for our DVC membership I can assure you than $20,000. And we consider money well spent.
The "Leave a legacy" rocks are known as the "Gravestones" within Disney circles. Thankfully, we went for one of the commorative paver tiles which are still there but there are no longer any subscriptions

There is talk of a similar scheme to "Leave a Legacy" being introduced to DVC resorts, you would be given the oppurtunity to be remembered at your home resort for ever..at a price of course.Thankfully if it goes ahead it will be something more tasteful than the "Tombstones" of epcot.
