Incompetent Travel Agents

I have spent the day dealing with incompetent travel agents.

TA1
They shall remain nameless, but they are very popular on TheDIBB.

I ask for free dining, travelling between certain dates and flying on a Friday or a Saturday- quite a simple request.

They respond with a quote that has paid for dining, later than my set dates, and flying on a Tuesday.

I respond and point out their errors (in detail), they reply with apologies and still manage to get it wrong, quoting for Tuesday flights again.

TA2
They shall also remain nameless, but they are also very popular on TheDIBB.

They tell me that my holiday has to be completed prior to the free dining cut-off date, I tell them that is not the case, and they insist it is!

They then send me a quote for dates I didn't want.

Virgin Holidays
I find VH very good. Their staff are normally knowledgeable and have great customer care skills. They usually get things right...but they are ridiculously expensive.

I know, but I asked them for a provisional quote for once it has been.

Maybe if you posted who these agents are then we might be able to suggest some different ones.

Why not book it as separates yourself?

Why did you only name Virgin - why didn't you name the other two?

I'll charter a guess to whom one of the agents are If DIY is cheaper I'd give TA's a wide serve, but then I won't pay for something I'm perfectly capable of arranging.
