Typhoon lagoon
We are going to typhoon lagoon for the first time with my son who was recently diagnosed with autism. Is it worth taking his diagnosis to guest services when we get there? He is high functioning but if he has a melt down he is prone to running away and hiding. We’ve never had special assistance at any parks before so no not sure how it works.

Although I have no experience with this, I know that I’d warn guest services if I were in your situation, there is certainly no harm in doing so.
It might also be better to go there on a week day when it should be a little quieter. I don’t know when you’re going, but we did it on a Thursday in early October last year and it was virtually empty compared to what we’ve seen in the past...no more than a 5 min wait for any of the slides. |
