The only way is down thanks to Brexit. 1.28 is the latest forecast for November ( not too much lower than now)

It hasn't crept back up in the last 3 months since the vote to leave the EU. In fact, the rate is currently lower than it was the day after Brexit.
So I doubt it is going to increase much (if at all) in the next couple of weeks.
