So who else is booked for September and thinks we will get there ? We are the 15th from Manchester after Glasgow flights where cancelled, only going for 17 days this time due to new jobs for both sons and future daughter in law , first two nights in margaritaville cottages and then two weeks in 3 bed condo in Marriott grand vista! We are hanging on to hope with everything we have though have taken a beating this week just like the rest of you xxx

We're booked from Gatwick to Tampa on the 2nd, really hope we get to go as we got an excellent price with BA coming back business class.

We are due to fly on the 12th September and while this week hasn't been great we still have 3 months to go and still hopeful we will be on the plane.

I’m still hopeful. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a travel corridor that means double vaccinated people don’t need to test.

I was positive , I have wobbled a little bit the last few days due to fly 19th .
DH thinks we won’t be going now. I’m still holding out hope( we’re both vaccinated )
I really hope so , we’ve had three holidays cancelled , and we need to get away .

We have till august before we need to make “that” decision , so still hopeful , still planning , the dibb is keeping me going and keeping me positive

We are due to fly on the 12th Sept and most days felt optimistic but as the day gets closer I am feeling less and less positive about being able to travel and if we went would it be a holiday.

We have both had our jabs but don't think this will aid our trip

We are due to fly in the 11th of September, to be honest I try to stay positive but I’m really feeling 50/50 this will happen all four of us have had both shots but it’s a waiting game now 🙏🙏

Still positive here.. We're flying out from LHR to Orlando on 6th September, I'm confident we will be on that plane

I go up and down on a daily basis. After the Portugal saga this week though I've made the decision that if we're still in this traffic light system that we'll almost certainly cancel. We need to decide 3 weeks before due to cancellation for flights and fly the 18th. Of course that all hinges on the Americans allowing us in. I really hope they'll allow fully vaccinated individuals in with no tests and faff by then!

Due to fly on the 1st September from Manchester after Glasgow flight cancelled.
We have had both doses but am just a little concerned about getting a test as driving down the day before which would mean we need to have a test on the Sunday but local pharmacy is closed. Also the Monday is a bank holiday. Think we might need to drive to Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport for a test.
