Hi Wolf

We were flying AA on a code share with a BA booking.
Our flight was BA 1525, and 12.50 to Miami from Heathrow.

Our return flights and our internal from Scotland to Heathrow were unaffected.

We just applied for a refund and meanwhile have booked other same day flights for £100 less in total. So not all bad...

Hope yours is OK

Thanks Cloverlady, we're exactly the same but on 8th Oct.

Will watch out for changes. Glad your changes worked out in some extra spending money

I'm more concerned about fitting into the shorts I wore the last time I was in Disney than not being able to go... lockdown was not kind... back in training (eg walking more! ).

Boris's announcement was not a surprise to anyone - or if it was, I'm not sure why. Over 20's are now called for vaccinations and over 18's by Friday - surely this is a good thing? For 3-4 weeks of extra inconvenience? And the 2nd jab for this age group would be in early August.

So, positive September Dibbers, all things look fantastic for us. Keep the faith my friends!

I suspect things will become clearer in mid-July, as anything Boris is considering will invariably be leaked to the press before the actual announcement.

I fully agree we'll be in a much better situation vaccination wise by early August. I volunteer at a vaccination centre & we are calling patients back in early for their 2nd jabs to speed up the rollout. We're also going to 7 day operation 8am-9pm to ramp things up further.

What Boris says is only half of the picture though - Mr Biden needs to reopen the US border to visitors.
