Found out yesterday that my daughter doesn't start school until Sept 8th. This means that I can actually push our dates back by 2 weeks if I need too so I'll be in the race for a couple more weeks 🤞🏼

Our July flight tickets have just been emailed, virgin don't seem to cancel do they? Could do with some clear yes or no on the status of travel, will be moving ro last 3 weeks of August of its a possible, would just need to find a new villa ... most stressed over a holiday ever.

This is my biggest worry at the moment. If Virgin don't cancel we're left with the devil's choice of paying £150pp to change it, or walk away from £3k worth of flights.

2nd worry is DVC points expiring 😩

3rd worry is moving Disney tickets to next year - will they do it...

Well all my kids (18,20,22) booked in for both jabs before we fly...can only control what we can control.

Liking the prices for May 2022 though! Maybe just book for the wife and I...but then could have BA vouchers if 2021 gets cancelled... suppose can use them against it still...

Roughly by my calculations in four weeks time another 5 million plus will have received first dose by then also we should surely see a drop in cases I’m not going till sept but I hope by then and with more second doses being given out we should know what the likely hood of holidays this summer , I think cases will go up for another week or two and then start to Drop 🙏🙏🙏that’s what I’m going by 😀

Seeing others being negative has made me feel even less positive (I have been one who has been negative for a while too though)

I am still utterly staggered with the vaccine roll out going so well that we are still in such a mess.

I feel like if we did less testing, most countries would let us in! Absolutely ridiculous.

Everything is noise...whether on here, or politicians, media etc.

Only thing you can deal in is facts. And we won;t know those until we know!

I wouldn't say I am overly positive, just planning for a positive outcome, as if I haven't planned I ain't going... or if I were every negative, I;d cancel everything and bot be able to go.

As I said - control what you can... and part of that is making sure we get money back to use for future holiday... or that new patio...

I agree with you ,I don’t understand why we look so bad with how well our vaccinations are going I just think other countries are not testing like us I blame a lot on the media it’s all doom and gloom
