Mobile Paying your 2020 balance

We have booked with Disney for this October, we were resigned to cancelling but now with everything opening back up we are happy to go with the changes announced and have the view more will be relaxed by October.

I’ve just read on Mickey in the UK that Disney require ALL 2020 bookings to be paid in full by the 10th June.

We are due to pay our balance on the 5th August and although I’m happy to go I still want to wait as long as possible before actually paying everything fully so we can see how things go between opening and our balance being due.

I haven’t had a communication from Disney, other than to cancel all my dining reservations 😭
Has anyone had a communication from Disney to back this June 10th date up?

I’ve seen June 10th mentioned a few times, but only by people who have booked via a TA. I think it’s because Disney have said they’re not selling any 2020 tickets for the time being. I believe they’ve given TAs until 10th June to place orders for their customers, so TAs require full payment by that date. I don’t think any of us who booked with WDTC have been asked for earlier payment, so I assume that’s because Disney are honouring their current direct bookings, regardless of whether they’re paid in full.
Having said that, we’re all awaiting the promised email with further information, so that may tell a different story when it finally arrives. I guess all we can do for now is just wait and see.

That was the first I had seen the date mentioned so had a mild panic!

I think it’ll be the later half of the month before we hear anything more from Disney directly.

We too were due to go in October. Not had anything about our final payment due date yet. Only the very disappointing emails about the cancelled ADRS and the “ we’ll be in touch soo” one. We still have until August as far as we are aware to make payment or changes.

The June 10 deadline is not for final payments this is for third party travel agents to advise Disney who is going and who has cancelled for this year so that they can gather numbers. Final payments will still be as per your own travel agents dates

DS was going in Dec with VH and had an email from them a couple of days ago, he had to fill in a form to say wether he still wanted to go, or defer to next year.
