Saving money on breakfast in Disney hotels

What does everyone do about breakfast when staying on site?

I’m looking at a standard room at Coronado Springs and just thinking we wouldn’t have our usual full kitchen to have breakfast before heading out

We always do a Walmart/publix trip and stock up on cereal, milk, fruit, muesli bars, Oreos, crisps and little cheese/cracker packs and water. I buy plastic bowls and spoons too to use whilst we are there. I know some people pack these things (not the perishables) in their suitcases and bring them from the U.K. but we love grocery shopping in the US.

We don’t plan on hiring a car this time so will be at the mercy of Disney prices

Just get an Uber, it doesn’t cost much and it will save you a fortune! They also have some great Disney merch (cheaper than the parks) if you have kids. It is truly well worth the effort.

Our most cheapskate trick ever was to get a salad from maccies, and keep that bowl for cereal. It was on our second trip in 2005. We've moved on since then, and take some plastic bowls and cereal from home now !

We took instant porridge pots that just needed boiling water added when we stayed at Coronado Springs, and just used hot water from the coffee machine.

Hi

When we stayed at CSR, we had a garden grocery shop delivered. When offsite, we just get a cab to the supermarket.
I am another person that loves grocery shopping over there.
We normally buy cereal, cake, pastries, drinks and snacks to take into the parks.
Also breakfast is reasonable at CSR, depending on how many of you there are. If we had their breakfast, we didn'nt need lunch.
Hope this helps.
