Dining Credits

I have a couple of questions and wondered if anyone might know the answer, although maybe too earlier to tell😀

If you purchased a resort refillable mug, could you swap the drink in a meal deal
for another snack?

How would the credit work if you wanted to use mobile order? Don't you have to pay in advance using a credit card?

I doubt you would be able to now as in effect you are actually pay oop but just like on a gift card not like ddp.

The credit is an e-giftcard which is emailed to you after you check-in, this can be added to your virtual wallet in MDE, the same as your debit/credit/currency card. You'll be able to use it to mobile order. Further details in the link below.

They're not dining credits any more in the way that they used to be on the dining plan, but a monetary credit that you get by e gift card. So, there's no swapping of drinks for snacks etc, as you don't automatically qualify for a drink with your meal. If you want a drink, then you order it and pay the price for that drink, the same with snacks etc. If you order a combo meal including a drink and side, then that's what you get. You'll just order what you want and pay the normal prices with your gift card, the same as if you were paying cash.

If you're at a resort and buying a combo meal that includes a drink then pick up a can of beer, win or fruit juice to drink later and use your refillable mug for the drink. We stayed at POFQ in 2019 and at brekfast used our mugs for coffee and got a couple of beers to take back to the room and put in the fridge.
