Kids meal - Virgin

My son will be 9 when we fly and don't know whether to get a kids meal or not.

Those who have booked kids meals, is it worth it and was sort of food did they get?

It normally looks like this! 🤔

Edit to add…you may be better getting a meal deal, or snacks from the airport.

It's always pasta and a sauce.

My 10yo is ASD and we've decided not to get him a child's meal, and give him a choice of the adults meal. We'll also take a meal deal for each of the kids (6 of them) so they have that option aswell!

This is good to know my son is 9 and will not anything with cheese on so that rules out the kids meal. Think we will try the adult meal but make sure I take back up options.

We've always booked a kids meal, it is normally a cheesy pasta although we have had breaded chicken before too. Our son isn't a fussy eater and is normally happy to eat what he gets, sometimes I share mine half and half if he fancies it as I quite like the cheesy pasta!

My grandsons love pasta at home but won’t touch this onboard. Either get the adult option or take a meal deal onboard. Been the same kids choice for years, think Virgin must have shares in a pasta company.

I suggest getting the adult meal, both my girls love pasta but wouldn't eat the virgin kids meals. They are having adult meals next time.

Dd is not picky but never eats the virgin kids meal as the pasta is always rank so she’s going for the adult meal this time

Our Daughter is 9 and will eat anything but didn't like the cheesy pasta! We have taken the child meal tick off our booking so she can choose from the adult option. I'll be made up if we are actually on a plane getting an option!
