Feeling a little positivity...

...in the air. Anyone else?

Starting to see a turn around in media reporting.
Extreme positivity being reported now about the vaccine, even after 3 weeks of just one dose they're now saying gives very good protection. 2 doses is working amazingly well against the Delta variant and showing good signs of less people contracting the virus. Even though cases yesterday hit 11k, the media was all about how the vaccines are working so well. I guess this is likely to be because they want to encourage the younger generation to get jabbed, but still good to hear.

Possibility of restrictions being lifted earlier than 19th July. Suddenly came out of nowhere!

Talk of double vaccinated being able to travel more freely and more talk of the US opening up to us.

I know it's all talk and things swing all over the place on this rollercoaster, but I feel a slight change, more towards positive reporting and wording in the media.

It may just be me trying to be more positive and taking hope from all of it, but it's given me a boost!

I’m positive we’ll be going. I booked our HHN tickets and I’ll book our ADRs when it comes to it. If it gets cancelled, I’ll just move it all for the 4th time but I’m more confident now than I have been for a while!

It really is fantastic to see! Overdue but welcome

For the people saying they've now bought their HHN tickets; are they non-refundable? I'm hesitant to buy mine!

If you take 'a' out of the thread title 🤪

I'm confident flights will resume july/August. I'm not so confident I can hold out due to payment dates etc
