Universal tickets
Are we better off booking them now or are there any offers over there worth waiting for?

I suspect it will be better getting them here.
Obviously, the 14 day Universal Bonus tickets are only available over here. So you can't get them over there. I recommend getting these tickets if you're thinking of visiting the Universal parks more than two days because they are about the same price as a 3 day ticket (for this year). If you mean 1, 2 or 3 day Universal tickets then ticket sellers like Orlando Attractions and Undercover Tourist sell them for prices slightly cheaper than from Universal's website and at the gate.

Orlando Attractions has Universal 2 day MYW base tickets for the following prices:
Adult = $127 (£86) Child = $117 (£79) For 4 adults and a child, that'll come to £423 (probably £422 because I rounded up the adult price).

Erm, they don't do "2 park base tickets".
Did you mean the 2 day base tickets that OA sell (and the ones I quoted earlier)? If so then do note that these are valid for only 2 days. The tickets other UK companies sell are the 2 Park Bonus tickets, which are valid for 14 days (and are therefore a little more expensive).
