My husband takes tablets to control his blood pressure and I contacted Llyods travel insurance which is with our bank account. The lady on the phone said that even though it has not increased the insurance at all that it should be recorded on the policy, which it now is.

I’ve just taken out an annual insurance policy for trips to UK and USA next year. One of the many acceptable conditions was hypertension if controlled on medication

I use World First Travel Insurance and have high BP which has previously hospitalised me and had recent changes in medication. Currently normal with medication though. For our family cover for our October trip (myself, husband and son) it was £107.00 which is a lot less than I was expecting.
